Bridge Information

The Austin Footbridge, also called the Barton Skyway Trail Bridge, is located on a pedestrian path between two office buildings. It appears to have been moved here at some point, but there is no information available about when or where the bridge was originally constructed.

The bridge was originally constructed as a polygonal Warren pony truss. However, at some point overhead bracing was welded to the truss, giving it the appearance of a through truss.
