Bridge Information
The Bill Benedict Bridge was built in 1994 to replace the Lake Monroe Bridge. The new bridge is a high level prestressed concrete girder bridge which eliminated the need for a movable bridge and increased the roadway from 1 lane to 2 lanes in each direction.
