Bridge Information
The Kingsley Covered Bridge, also called the Mill River Bridge, is a Town lattice truss covered bridge which was built in 1836. The bridge exterior is finished in vertical board siding, which extends around the portals. The roof is made from corrugated metal. The bridge rests on masonry abutments which have been faced in concrete.
The bridge was repaired in 1950 and again in 1985. It was most recently renovated from 2023 to 2024. This project included replacing the roof and siding, replacing or repairing the structural members as required and repairing the abutments.
